Head ligh ts On with Wip ers — If Equipped
If you r vehicle is equ ipped with Autom atic Head lights it
also has this custom er program mable featu re. When you r
head lights are in the autom atic mode, and the engine is
running, the head lights will autom atically turn on when
the wiper system is on.
The driver can choose, when exiting the vehicle, to have
the head lights rem ain on for 30, 60, or 90 second s, or not
rem ain on. To change the timer setting see you r autho-
rized Dealer.
If the head lights are turned off before the ignition, they 3
will turn off in the norm al manner.
Head ligh t Delay — If Equipped
This featu re provid es the safety of head light illumination
for up to 90 second s after exiting you r vehicle.
NOTE: The head lights must be turned off within 45
second s of turning the ignition OFF to activate this
featu re.
To activate the delay featu re, turn OFF the ignition switch
while the head lights are still on. Then turn off the
head lights within 45 second s. The 90 second delay inter-
val begins when head light switch is turned off. If the
head lights or park lights are turned back on or the
ignition switch is turned on, the delay will be cancelled .
