If you believe that you r vehicle has a defect that could
cause a crash or cause injury or death, you shou ld
immediately inform the National Highw ay Traffic Safety
Administration (NHTSA) in addition to notifying the
manu factu rer.
In Canada
If you believe that you r vehicle has a safety defect, you
shou ld contact the Custom er Service Dep artm ent imme-
diately. Canad ian custom ers who wish to rep ort a safety
defect to the Canad ian governm ent shou ld write to:

If NHTSA receives similar complaints, it may open an
investigation, and if it find s that a safety defect exists in
