Towing Tips — Coolin g System
To red uce potential for engine and transm ission over-
heating, take the follow ing actions:
RECREATIONAL TOWING (BEHIND
MOTORHOME, ETC.)

Cit y Driving
When stop ped for short period s of time, put transm ission
gear selector lever in NEUTRAL but do not increase
engine idle speed .
Towing this veh icle behind anoth er veh icle (flat-
tow ing with all fou r wheels on the grou nd) IS NOT
RECO MMENDED.

Highw ay Driving
Reduce speed .

NOTE: If the vehicle requ ires tow ing make sure all four

Air Condit ioning
Turn off tem porarily.
