Power Windows are fused by a 25 Amp circuit breaker
located under the instru ment panel near the steering
column. If you experience temporary or permanent loss of
these system s, see your authorized dealer for service.

When installin g the Integrated Power Module cover,
it is importan t to ensure the cover is properly
position ed and fully latch ed. Failu re to do so may
allow water to get into the Integrated Power Mod-
ule, and possib ly resu lt in a electrical system failu re.

If you are leaving you r vehicle dorm ant for more than 21
days you may want to take step s to protect you r battery.
You may do the follow ing:
When replacin g a blown fuse, it is importan t to use
only a fuse havin g the correct amperage ratin g. The
use of a fuse with a ratin g other than indicated may
resu lt in a dangerou s electrical system overload . If a
properly rated fuse contin ues to blow, it indicates a
problem in the circuit that must be corrected .

Remove the 20 Amp mini-fu se in the Integrated Pow er
Mod ule labeled Ignition-Off Draw (IOD).

Or, disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

Anytim e you store you r vehicle, or keep it out of
service for two weeks or more, run the air cond itioning
system at idle for abou t five minu tes in the fresh air
and high blow er setting. This will ensu re adequ ate
system lubrication to minim ize the possibility of com-
pressor damage when the system is started again.
The Heated Mirrors, Lower Instru ment Panel Power Outlet
and Removable Floor Console, when in the front position
are fused with self-resetting fuses that are only serviceable
by an authorized dealer. The power seats are fused by a 30
