UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR  VEHICLE
Settin g  Electron ic Speed   Con trol at  a Desired
Speed
When  the  vehicle  has  reached   the  desired   speed , press
the SET  lever downw  ard  and then  release.  Lift you r foot
off  the  accelerator   and  the   vehicle  will  operate   at  the
selected  speed .
Varyin g The  Speed  Settin  g
When  the speed  control  is SET, speed can  be increased  by
raising   and   hold ing   the  RESUM E/ACCEL   lever   up-
ward s.  When  released ,  a  new  set  speed   will  be  estab-
lished .
Raising  the  lever  RESUM E/ACCEL  upward  s  once  will
resu lt in a 1 mph  (1 km/  h) speed  increase.  Each time  the
lever  is tap ped upward  s, speed  increases  so that  tap ping
the  lever  three   times  will  increase   speed  by  3  mph  (5
km/  h), etc.
Deactivatin  g Electron  ic Speed   Con trol
A  soft   tap  on   the   brake   pedal   or  pulling    the  lever
CAN CEL tow ard  you , will deactivate   the  speed  control
withou t   erasing   the   set  speed   memory.   Pushing    the
ON/OFF  button   to the  OFF position   or turning   OFF the
ignition  erases  the  set speed   memory.
To decrease   speed  while  speed  control   is SET, press  the
lever SET/D ECEL downw  ard and  hold . Release the  lever
when  the  desired   speed  is  reached , and  the  new  speed
will  be SET.
Resu ming  Speed
To   resu me  a   previou sly   set   speed ,   raise   the   lever
RESUM E/ACCEL  upward s  and  release.  Resume  can  be
used  at any  speed  above  25  mph  (40 km/ h).
Tapping   the   lever   SET/D ECEL  downw ard   once   will
resu lt in a 1 mph  (1 km/ h)  speed decrease.   Each time the
lever  is tap ped  downw ard , speed  decreases.
