If the shou lder belt contacts the face or neck, move the 2
child closer to the center of the vehicle. If this doesn’t
help , move the child to the center rear seating position
and use the lap belt. Never allow a child to put the
shou lder belt und er an arm or behind their back.
Child ren Too Large For Booster Seats
Child ren who are large enou gh to wear the shou lder belt
comfortably, and whose legs are long enou gh to bend
over the front of the seat when their back is against the
seatback, shou ld use the lap/ shou lder belt in a rear seat.
