to contact you r eyes, skin or cloth ing. Don’t lean
over a battery when attach ing clam ps. If acid
splash es in eyes or on skin, flu sh the area imme-
diately with large amounts of water.

the negative post. Battery posts are mark ed posi-
tive (+) and negative (-) and identified on the
battery case. Cab le clam ps should be tigh t on the

flam e or spark s away from the battery. Don’t use a
booster battery or any oth er booster sou rce with an
output greater than 12 volts. Don’t allow cable
clam ps to tou ch each oth er.
