To Disen gage The Child Protection Door Lock
WARN ING!
1.
Open the sliding side door.
Avoid trap ping anyon e in the veh icle in a collision .
Rem ember that the slid ing doors can only be opened
from the outsid e door handle or the switch es located
on the trim panel just in fron t of the power slid ing
door when the child protection lock s are engaged .
2. Slide the child lock control outward (away from the 2
vehicle) to disengage the Child Protection Door Lock.

On vehicles equ ipped with power locks, the liftgate can
be unlocked using the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transm itter button, or by activating the power door lock
