Next, turn the knob surrou nd ing the joystick in the center
of the rad io to scroll to Subscrip tion, and then press and
release the joystick. All of the ESNs that apply to you r
vehicle will display.
Reception Quality
Satellite recep tion may be interru pted due to one of the
follow ing reasons:

stru cture or und er a physical obstacle.
Selecting Satellite Mode
Press the SAT button until ЉSATЉ appears in the display. A
CD may rem ain in the rad io while in the Satellite rad io
mode.
Dense tree coverage may interru pt recep tion in the
form of short audio mutes.
Driving und er wide brid ges or along tall buildings can
cause interm ittent recep tion.
Satellite Antenna
To ensu re optimum recep tion, do not place item s on the
roof arou nd the rooftop antenna location or strap item s to
the tru nk lid arou nd the tru nk lid antenna (if equ ipped).
Metal objects placed within the line of sight of the
antenna will cause decreased perform ance. Larger lug-
gage item s such as bikes shou ld be placed as far rearw ard
as possible, within the load ing design of the rack. Do not
place item s directly on or above the antenna.
