phone, the audio will be played throu gh you r vehicle’s
audio system . The UConnect system will work the sam e
as if you dial the nu mber using voice recognition.
• Follow ing the beep , say ЉMute.Љ
In ord er to un-m ute the UConnect system :
• Press the “Voice Recognition” button.
• Follow ing the beep , say ЉMute off.Љ
Advanced Phone Connectivity
NOTE: Certain brand s of mobile phones do not send the
dial ring to the UConnect system to play it on the
vehicle audio system , so you will not hear it. Und er this
situ ation, after successfu lly dialing a nu mber the user
may feel that the call did not go throu gh even thou gh the
call is in progress. Once you r call is answ ered , you will
hear the audio.
Transfer Call to and from Cellu lar Phone
The UConnect system allow s ongoing calls to be trans-
ferred from you r cellular phone to the UConnect system
withou t term inating the call. To transfer an ongoing call
from you r UConnect paired cellular phone to the
UConnect system or vice versa, press the “Voice Recog-
nition” button and say ЉTransfer Call.Љ
Mute/Un -Mute (Mute Off)
When you mute the UConnect system , you will still be
able to hear the conversation coming from the other
party, but the other party will not be able to hear you . In
ord er to mute the UConnect system :

Press the “Voice Recognition” button.
