The Unlock Doors Autom atically On Exit featu re can be
enabled or disabled by perform ing the follow ing proce-
dure:

Enter you r vehicle and close all doors.
If a chim e is not heard , the program mode was canceled
before the featu re could be disabled . If necessary, rep eat
the above proced ure.
Fasten you r seat belt. (Fastening the seat belt will
cancel any chim es that may be confu sing during this
program ming proced ure.)
The Unlock Doors Autom atically On Exit featu re can be
reactivated by rep eating the above mentioned proced ure
or by perform ing the proced ure in the EVIC, Custom er
Program mable Featu res section on vehicles so equ ipped.

Insert the key into the ignition switch.
Within 15 second s, cycle the ignition key from the OFF
position to the ON/ RUN position a minim um of four
times end ing in the OFF position (Do not start the
engin e).
NOTE: Use the Lock Doors Autom atically at 15 mph (24
km/ h) and Unlock Doors Autom atically On Exit featu res
in accord ance with local law s.

Within 30 second s, press the driver’s door lock switch
in the unlock direction.
