Integrated Ign ition Key
The integrated ignition key operates the ignition switch.
It also contains the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) trans-
mitter and a valet key, which stores in the rear of the
transm itter.

The valet key allow s for entry into the vehicle shou ld the
battery in the vehicle or the transm itter go dead . The
valet key is also for locking the glove box. You can keep
the valet key with you when valet parking.
To rem ove the valet key from the transm itter, slide the
mechanical latch at the top of the transm itter sideways
with you r thu mb and then pull the key out with you r
other hand .

NOTE: You can insert the double-sid ed valet key into
the lock cylind er with either side up.
