and the vehicle will rem ain in the Remote Start mode for
a 15 minu te cycle.
To Enter the Vehicle After Rem ote Start
To enter the vehicle while the engine is running during a
Remote Start, you must first unlock the vehicle using the
UNLOCK button on the transm itter. After the vehicle is 2
unlocked , you have 60 second s to enter the vehicle, insert
the key into the ignition switch and move it to the RUN
position, otherw ise the engine will cancel Remote Start-
ing and autom atically turn off.

If you r power door locks were unlocked , Remote Start
will autom atically LOCK the doors.
The park lights will turn on and rem ain on during
Remote Start mode.
To Exit Rem ote Start Mode and Drive the Vehicle
Before the end of the 15 minu te cycle, press and release
the UNLOCK button on the RKE transm itter to unlock
the doors and disarm the Vehicle Security Alarm (if
equ ipped). Then, prior to the end of the 15 minu te cycle,
insert the key into the ignition switch and turn the switch
to the ON position.
For security, power wind ow and power sunroof op-
eration (if so equ ipped) are disabled when the vehicle
is in the Remote Start mode.

The engine can be started two consecu tive times (two
15
minu te cycles) with the RKE transm itter. However,
the ignition switch must be cycled to the ON position
before you can rep eat the start sequ ence for a third
cycle.
