WARN ING!
SABIC Airbags offer side-impact and vehicle rollover
protection to front and rear seat outboard occupants in
addition to that provid ed by the bod y stru cture. Each
airbag featu res inflated cham bers placed adjacent to the
head of each outboard occupant that red uce the potential
for side-impact head injuries. The curtains deploy down-
ward , covering both wind ows on the impact side.

Do not put anyth ing on or arou nd the airb ag
covers or attem pt to open them manually. You may
damage the airb ags and you could be injured
becau se the airb ag inflation capability may be
comprom ised . The protective covers for the airb ag
cushion s are design ed to open only when the
airb ags are inflatin g.

NOTE: Shou ld a vehicle rollover occur, the SABIC
curtains on both sides of the vehicle are deployed .
Do not use accessory seat covers or place objects
betw een you and the sid e airb ags; the perform ance
could be adversely affected and/or objects could
be pushed into you , causin g seriou s injury.
NOTE: Airbag covers may not be obviou s in the interior
trim ; but they will open to allow airbag deploym ent.
The system inclu des sensors adjacent to both front and
rear seat occupants that are calibrated to deploy during
an impact severe enou gh to requ ire airbag occupant
protection.
