Some  phones  cannot   send  phonebook   entries   if they
are  alread y connected   to  any  system  via  Bluetooth௡,
and  you may  see a message   on the  phone  display  that
the Bluetooth௡   link is  busy. In this  case, the  user  must
first  disconnect  or  drop  the  Bluetooth௡   connection  to
the  UConnect ௡ system ,  and   then   send  the   address
book   entry  via   Bluetooth௡.   Please   see  you r  phone
Owner ’s  Manu al  for specific   instru ctions  on  how  to
drop  the  Bluetooth௡   connection.

mobile,  or pager)   that  you wish  to  edit.

After you  are finished  editing  an  entry  in the phonebook,
you will  be given the  opportu  nity to edit  another  entry  in
the phonebook,   call the nu mber  you just  edited , or retu rn
to the  main  menu .
If the  phonebook  entry  is  longer  than  24 characters,  it
will  only use  the  first 24  characters.
Edit  Entries  in  the  UCon nect௡  Phonebook
ЉPhonebook   EditЉ   can  be  used   to  add   another   phone
nu mber   to  a   nam e  entry   that   alread y  exists   in   the
phonebook.   For exam ple, the entry  John  Doe may  have a
mobile   and  a  hom e  nu mber,  but   you  can   add  ”John
Doe’s”  work  nu mber  later   using  the ЉPhonebook   EditЉ
featu re.
NOTE:     Editing   nam es  in  the   phonebook    is  recom -
mend ed  when  the  vehicle is  not in  motion.

After  the ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the  follow ing beep , say
ЉPhonebook   Edit.Љ
