Work ing with Autom ated System s
This method is used in instances where one generally has
to press nu mbers on the cellular phone keyp ad while
navigating throu gh an autom ated telep hone system .
You can also send stored UConnect phonebook entries
as tones for fast and easy access to voice mail and pager
entries. To use this featu re, dial the nu mber you wish to
call and then press the “Voice Recognition” button and
say, “Send .” The system will prom pt you to enter the
nam e or nu mber and say the nam e of the phonebook
entry you wish to send . The UConnect system will then
send the corresp ond ing phone nu mber associated with
the phonebook entry, as tones over the phone.
You can use you r UConnect system to access a voice
mail system or an autom ated service, such as a paging
service or autom ated custom er service line. Some ser-
vices requ ire immediate resp onse selection. In som e
instances, that may be too quick for use of the UConnect
system .
When calling a nu mber with you r UConnect system
that norm ally requ ires you to enter in a tou ch-tone
