program ming a blank transm itter to the vehicle electron-
ics. A blank transm itter is one that has never been
program med.
After 10 second s, a chim e will sou nd and the Vehicle
Security Light will begin to flash. Turn the ignition switch
to the OFF position and rem ove the second key.

NOTE: When having the Sentry Key Immobilizer
system serviced , bring all vehicle RKE transm itters with
you to the authorized dealer.
3. Insert a blank integrated key into the ignition switch
and turn the ignition switch to the ON position within 60
second s. After 10 second s, a single chim e will sou nd and
the Vehicle Security Light will stop flashing, turn the
ignition switch on again for three second s, and then turn
it off.
Custom er Key Program ming
If you have two valid RKE transm itters with integrated
keys, you can program new transm itters to the system by
perform ing the follow ing step s:
The new integrated key is program med. The Rem ote
Keyless Entry (RKE) tran smitter will also be pro-
gram med durin g this proced ure.

Insert the first valid integrated key into the ignition
switch and turn the ignition switch to the ON position for
at least three second s, but no longer than 15 second s.
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and rem ove
the first key.
Repeat this proced ure to program up to eight keys. If you
do not have a program med RKE transm itter with inte-
grated key, contact you r authorized dealer for details.

Insert the second valid integrated key and turn the
ignition switch to the ON position within 15 second s.
