Operating Instructions - Radio Mode
to seek up and the left switch to seek down. The rad io
will rem ain tuned to the new station until you make
another selection. Holding either button will byp ass
stations withou t stop ping until you release it.
NOTE: The ignition switch must be in the ON or ACC
position to operate the rad io.
Pow er Switch /Volu me Con trol (Rotary)
Push the On/ Volume control knob to turn on the rad io.
Push the On/ Volume control knob a second time to turn
off the rad io.
SCAN Button
Pressing the SCAN button causes the tuner to search for
the next listenable station in AM or FM frequ encies,
pausing for five second s at each listenable station before
continu ing to the next. To stop the search, press the
SCAN button a second time.
Electron ic Volume Con trol
The electronic volu me control turns continu ously (360
degrees) in either direction withou t stop ping. Turning the
On/ Volume control knob to the right increases the vol-
ume and to the left decreases it.
Voice Recogn ition System (Rad io) — If Equipped
Refer to “Voice Recognition System (VR)” in Section 3.
Voice Recogn ition Button (UCon nect Hands-Free
Phone) — If Equipped
Press this button to operate the Hand s-Free Phone
(UConnect ) featu re (if equ ipped). Refer to “Hand s-Free
Com munication (UConnect )” in Section 3.
When the audio system is turned on, the sou nd will be
set at the sam e volu me level as last played .
SEEK Button s
Press and release the SEEK buttons to search for the next
listenable station in AM/ FM mode. Press the right switch
