UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
To Disab le A RKE Transmitter Linked to Memory
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and
rem ove the key.
Press and release Mem ory Button 1. The system will
recall any memory settings stored in position 1. Wait for
the system to complete the memory recall before continu -
ing to step 3.
To disable another transm itter linked to either Mem ory
Position, rep eat step s 1 to 5 for each transm itter.

NOTE: Once program med, all transm itters linked to
memory can be easily enabled or disabled at one time.
Refer to the Remote Linked to Mem ory ЉCustom er Pro-
gram mable Featu resЉ in the Electronic Vehicle Inform a-
tion Center (EVIC) for more inform ation.

TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE HOOD
To open the hood , two latches must be released .

Move to the front of the vehicle and look insid e the
center of the hood opening. Locate then push the safety
catch lever to the right while raising the hood at the sam e
time.

Within five second s, press and release the UNLOCK
button on the Remote Keyless Entry transm itter. A chim e
will sou nd signaling to you that the transm itter link has
been successfu lly disabled .
