STARTING AND OPERATING
Shou ld a low tire cond ition occur on any of the four
active road tire(s), you shou ld stop as soon as possible,
and inflate the low tire(s) that is flashing on the grap hic
display to the vehicle’s recom mend ed cold tire pressu re
valu e. The system will autom atically update, the grap hic
display of the pressu re valu e(s) will stop flashing, and
the TPMS Telltale Warning Light will extingu ish once the
updated tire pressu re(s) have been received . The vehicle
may need to be driven for up to 10 minu tes above 15 mph
(25
km/ h) to receive this inform ation.

If the ignition key is cycled , this sequ ence will rep eat,
provid ing the system fault still exists. If the system fault
no longer exists, the TPMS Telltale Warning Light will no
longer flash, the CHECK TPM SYSTEM text message
detected . The system fault will also sou nd a chim e. The
EVIC will display a CHECK TPM SYSTEM message for
three second s. This text message is then follow ed by a
grap hic display, with - - in place of the pressu re valu e(s)
ind icating which TPMS Sensor(s) is not being received .
