vehicle. Reassem ble the winch hand le extensions to form
a “T’ and fit the winch “T” hand le over the drive nu t.
Rotate the nu t to the right until the winch mechanism
clicks at least three times.

Lower the jack to its fully-closed position.

A loose tire or jack throw n forw ard in a collision or
hard stop could endanger the occupants of the ve-
hicle. Alw ays stow the jack parts and the spare tire in
the places provid ed. Have the deflated (flat) tire
rep aired or rep laced immediately.
Wheel Nuts
All wheel nu ts shou ld be tightened occasionally to elimi-
nate the possibility of wheel stu ds being sheared or the
bolt holes in the wheels becom ing elongated . This is
especially important during the first few hu nd red miles
