If the engine show s no sign of starting after two 15–
second intervals of cranking with the accelerator pedal
held to the floor, the “Norm al Starting” proced ure shou ld
be rep eated .
The engine block heater cord is rou ted und er the hood on
the driver’s side of the vehicle. It has a rem ovable cap
that is located on the driver side of the Integrated Pow er
Mod ule.
After Startin g
The idle speed will autom atically decrease as the engine
warm s up.
WARN ING!
Rem ember to discon nect the electrical cord before
drivin g. Damage to the 110-115 volt electrical cord
could cause electrocu tion .

The engine block heater warm s engine coolant and
perm its quicker starts in cold weather. Connect the
electrical cord to a stand ard 110-115 volt AC electrical
outlet with a grou nd ed, three-w ire extension cord .
