Fuel Econom y cannot be reset. That is, these three featu res are
unaffected by pushing the RESET switch.
System Check
A press of the SYSTEM CH ECK switch cau ses the M/ C to cycle
throu gh a statu s of each of the system s being monitored . For
each of the monitored system s, the M/ C will ind icate either an
OK message or a warning message for tw o second s. The
sequ ence of the system check rep ort is as follow s:

Engine Oil Level
Voltage Level
Engine Coolant Temperatu re
Washer Fluid Level
Head Lam ps
Tail Lam ps
Brake Lam ps
Air Ride System (if equ ipped)
Fuel Level
At norm al conclu sion of the system check sequ ence, the M/ C
will display the last displayed featu re before pressing the
SYSTEM CH ECK switch or the warnings that are active.
For tw o of the system s rep orted in the system check (Engine Oil
Life Left and Fuel Level), there are tw o messages to describe the
statu s of the system . For Engine Oil Life Left, the first message
will ind icate the oil change statu s (OK, SOON , REQUIRED) and
the second message will ind icate the oil life rem aining as a
percentage. If the second message is “OIL TEMP SIGNAL
ERROR”, this means that there is a problem with the oil
tem peratu re send er system and you shou ld contact you r dealer
