Using the Controls on Your New Radio
How to turn the radio on and off
Press the “VOL/ PUSH ON ” knob to tu rn the rad io on. Press
again to tu rn it off.
How to adjust the volume
Turn the “VOL/ PUSH ON ” knob clockw ise to increase the
volu me and cou nterclockw ise to decrease the volu me.
NOTE: If the volu me level is set above a certain listen ing
level when the ign ition switch is turned off, when the
ign ition switch is turned back on, the volu me will
come back to a “nominal” listen ing level. However, if
the rad io power is turned off (with the “VO L/PUSH
ON” button ) and the volu me is at a low level, the
volu me will rem ain in the position it was set at when
rad io power is switch ed back on.
Selecting the AM or FM frequency band
Pu sh the “AM/ FM” bu tton to select the desired frequ ency band .
Pu shing the “AM/ FM” bu tton cau ses the frequ ency band to
switch from “AM” to “FM1” to “FM2” to “AM”, changing one
band to the next each tim e the bu tton is pressed . These
functions are used with the station memory bu ttons described
und er How to tune radio stations.
