Neutral Tow Feature
Neutral tow featu re is an option which can be activated at any
dealership that has a Service Bay Diagnostic System (SBDS).
When activated the featu re may be enabled by follow ing the
instru ction located on the visor or the head liner.
The featu re is available in vehicles with Control Trac and
au tom atic transm ission only. It is not available on vehicles with
All-Wheel Drive.
There are no wrecker or recreational vehicle tow ing restrictions
on method or distance if the above featu re is activated and
enabled .

Recreational Towing — All wheels on the ground
Tow ing you r vehicle can be successfu lly perform ed by follow ing
the ap prop riate gu idelines for the typ e of pow ertrain on the
vehicle to be tow ed. The follow ing gu idelines, by pow ertrain
com bination, are designed to ensu re that the transm ission is not
dam aged due to insu fficient lubrication.
NOTE: Veh icles equipped with the All Wheel Drive tran sfer
case cannot be tow ed with all fou r wheels on the
grou nd.

Maxim um speed is 35 mph (56 km / h).
Maxim um distance is 50 miles (80 km ).
If a distance of 50 miles (80 km ) or speed of 35 mph (56 km / h)
will be exceed ed, you must:
