Install  the   retainer   throu gh  wheel   center   with  valve   stem
facing  up.
NOTE:   Stow  alu minum   wheel   and  tire  with   valve  stem  down.

Rotate  the   hand le  clockw ise to  secu re  tire.  Continu  e  until  the
lift  mechanism   “slip s”.
Check  for  prop  er seating   against   und erbod  y supports    and
retighten   if  necessary.
To  stow  the  largest   flat  tire  (P255  tire  on  a  16  inch  trisp oked
wheel),  place   insid e  vehicle  and   secu re with   webbing
retainer.   Raise  spare   tire  cable  until   secu re.
