To remove the child from the built-in child seat:

Op en the chest clip. Refer back to Figu re 9.
Press release bu tton on the crotch safety bu ckle. Refer back
to Figu re 8.

Slide the shou lder safety belts off the child ’s shou lders and
rem ove the child from the seat. Refer to Figu re 6.
To fold up the built-in child safety seat:
Make sure belts have fully retracted to the stow ed position
before stow ing the child safety seat.
NOTE: The seatb ack cannot be fold ed down unless the child
safety seat is fully stow ed.

Fold the protector flap over the child ’s seat cushion. Refer to
Figu re 5.
Rotate the child seat cushion upward , secu ring both velcro
strap s. Refer to Figu re 4.
Slide the head restraint dow n until it is flush with the top of
the ad ult seatback. Refer to Figu re 4.
NOTE: When the child ’s safety seat is not in use, it may be
fold ed up so that an adult may use the veh icle’s rear
seat. Refer to Figu re 1.
