How to turn the radio on and off
Press the “VOL/ PUSH ON ” knob to tu rn the rad io on. Press
again to tu rn it off.
How to adjust the volume
Turn the “VOL/ PUSH ON ” knob clockw ise to increase the
volu me and cou nterclockw ise to decrease the volu me. Bars
illuminate in the display to show relative volu me level.
NOTE: If the volu me level is set above a certain listen ing
level when the ign ition switch is turned off, when the
ign ition switch is turned back on, the volu me will
come back to a “nominal” listen ing level. However, if
the rad io power is turned off, the volu me will rem ain
in the position it was set at when rad io power was
switch ed off.
Selecting the AM or FM frequency band
Push the “AM”/ FM“ bu tton to select the desired frequ ency
band or to stop / store cassette tap e (when in cassette mod e).

How to tune radio stations
There are fou r ways for you to tu ne in a particu lar station. You
can manu ally locate the station using the ”TUN E“ bu tton,
”
SEEK“ bu tton, ”SCAN “ bu tton, or select the station by using
the memory bu ttons, which you can set to any desired
frequ ency. These four method s are described below .
