Anti-lock Brake Warning Light
To check the ABS brake warning light, tu rn the ignition key to
ON . The ABS brake warning light shou ld glow mom entarily.

If the anti-lock brak e system warn ing ligh t rem ain s on or
comes on while drivin g, have the brak ing system checked
by a qualified service tech nician as soon as possib le.
NOTE: If a fau lt occurs in the anti-lock system , and the brak e
warn ing ligh t is not lit, the anti-lock system is
disab led but norm al brak e function rem ain s
operation al.
Safety Belt Warning Light and Chime
The safety belt warning light/ chim e rem ind s you to fasten you r
safety belt. One of the follow ing will take place:

If the safety belt is not bu ckled when the key is tu rned to
the ON position, the light com es on for 60 second s and the
chim e sou nd s for 4 to 8 second s.

If the safety belt is bu ckled while the light is on and the
chim e is sou nd ing, both the light and chim e tu rn off.
If safety belt is bu ckled before the key is tu rned to the ON
position, both the light and the chim e will not tu rn on.
