In the event of a multip le warning situ ation, the M/ C will cycle
the display to show all warnings by displaying each warning
message for 4 second s.
Using the message center while a warning is active
If you want to disp lay the operator selectable featu res of the
M/ C while a warning is displayed , the warning message may
be rem oved from the M/ C display by pressing the RESET
switch. The M/ C will display the last selected featu re if there
are no more warning messages. This allow s you to use the full
functionality of the M/ C after you acknow led ge the warning by
pressing the RESET switch and clearing the warning message.
Warning messages which have been reset are divid ed into tw o
categories. They will reap pear on the display in 10 minu tes
from the reset or they will not reap pear until an ignition key
OFF-ON cycle. This reap pearing of warning messages is a
rem ind er that these warning cond itions still exist within the
vehicle. Warnings may be rep eated ly reset. All warning
messages will reap pear after an entire SYSTEM CH ECK
sequ ence has been completed .
