Starting   Your  Explorer
If you r  engine   cranks   bu t does  not   start  after   a  collision  or
major  jolt:

Turn  the   key  in  the  ignition   to  OFF.
Check  und er  the   vehicle  for  leaking   fuel.
If you   do  not  see  or  smell   fuel,  push   the  red  reset   bu tton
dow n.  If the   bu tton  is alread  y  set,  you  may  have   a  different
mechanical   problem  .

Turn  the   ignition   key  ON  for  a  few  second s,  then  tu rn  it
OFF.
Check  und er  the   vehicle  again   for  leaking   fuel.  If you  see  or
smell  fuel,   do  not  start  you r veh icle  again . If  you  do   not
see  or  smell  fuel,  you   can  try  to  start   you r vehicle   again.
6.
Check  all  vehicle   warning   lights   before  driving   you r  vehicle.
Reset  but ton  for fuel  pump  shut -off  switch
