When unlocking the vehicle with a key, tu rn the key all the
way to the end of its travel or the system may not disarm .
NOTE: The flash ing ligh ts and honking horn will shut off
autom atically with in 2 minutes 45 secon ds after the
system is triggered . It will trigger again if anoth er
intru sion occurs. However, the starter circu it rem ain s
disab led until the system is disarm ed.
The anti-theft system is designed to work with the factory
installed rem ote entry system . It may not work with other
rem ote entry system s.
Automatic Ride Control System
(If equipped)
The au tom atic rid e control system is designed to improve rid e,
hand ling, and general vehicle perform ance for both on and
off-road cond itions by ad justing vehicle rid e height and shock
dam pening (firm or soft).
The system au tom atically controls the vehicle rid e height over a
range of ap proxim ately tw o inches based on vehicle speed and
selection of tw o or four wheel drive mod es. Also, the system
keep s the vehicle at a constant level if a load is ad ded to or
rem oved from the vehicle.
The au tom atic rid e control system places the vehicle at its
low est height when tw o wheel drive is selected . Shock
dam pening is au tom atically set based on driver and road inp uts
to optim ize rid e.
The au tom atic rid e control system raises the vehicle
ap proxim ately one inch when Au to 4WD is selected . How ever,
if vehicle speed exceed s 58 mph (93 km / h), the system will
low er the vehicle to its tw o wheel drive height to maxim ize rid e
com fort. The vehicle will raise again if vehicle speed is less than
30
mod e, shock dam pening is au tom atically set based on driver
and road inp uts.
