Operating tips
The follow ing tip s will help you to get the most satisfaction
from you r air cond itioning and heater system .

In hu mid weather, select V before starting you r engine.
This will help to prevent wind shield fogging. After a few
minu tes of operation, you may select another function.

To prevent hu midity bu ildup insid e you r vehicle, alw ays
drive with the air cond itioner or heater system tu rned on.
Do not put objects und er the front seats that interfere with
the flow of air to the back seat area.
Remove any snow , ice, or leaves from the air intake area of
you r air cond itioner and heater system that cou ld block the
air intake. The intake area is located at the bottom of the
wind shield .
Electronic Automatic Temperature Control
(If equipped)
The control for you r Electronic Au tom atic Temperatu re Control
(EATC) is located at the center of the instru ment panel below
the rad io and will operate only when the ignition key is tu rned
on to the ON position.
The EATC featu re will maintain the tem peratu re you select and
au tom atically control the airflow for you r com fort. It also allow s
you to overrid e the au tom atic operation with manu al overrid e
bu ttons.
