Overdrive Off Indicator (If equipped)
This light tells you that the Transm ission Control Switch (TCS)
on the gearshift lever has been pushed . When the light is on,
the transm ission does not shift into overd rive. Dep ressing the
bu tton on the shifter once more retu rns the vehicle to overd rive
mod e. The transm ission will be in the overd rive mod e when the
vehicle is started even if the O/ D OFF mod e was selected when
the vehicle was last shu t off.
NOTE: If the ligh t does not come on when the TCS is
depressed or if the ligh t flash es when you are drivin g,
have you r veh icle serviced at the first opportu nity. If
this condition persists, damage could occur to the
tran smission .

Speed Control Light (If equipped)
This light com es on when you tu rn on the speed control system
and set the speed . The light will be on whenever the speed
control is set, even if you overrid e the set speed by pressing the
accelerator pedal or by pressing the coast bu tton. The light will
go off when the brakes are used or the speed control system is
tu rned off.
This light does not ind icate any problem s with the speed control
system , bu t is only a convenience to tell you when the speed
control system is active and read y to maintain a set speed .
