Rear Window Defroster (If equipped)
The defroster for the rear wind ow clears frost, fog, or thin ice
from both the insid e and outsid e of the rear wind ow .
The control switch is located on the instru ment panel to the
right of the rad io.
Rear window defrost er switch
To defrost the rear wind ow :

Clear any snow from the rear wind ow .
Get in you r vehicle and start the engine.
Pu sh the switch and release. The ind icator light tu rns on.
Pu sh switch again to tu rn off.
The defroster tu rns off au tom atically after ap proxim ately 10
minu tes. If the wind ow is not clear, tu rn on the defroster again.
It will also au tom atically shu t off any tim e the engine is shu t
off.
NOTE: Never use sharp instru ments or window clean ers with
abrasives to clean the insid e of you r rear window. If
you do, you may damage the heatin g elem ents that
are bonded to the insid e of the rear window and
cause damage to the rear window defroster.
