Power distribution box
The high current fuses contained in the Pow er Distribu tion Box
protect you r vehicle’s main electrical system s from overload s;
these fuses provid e the connection betw een the battery and you r
vehicle’s electrical system s.
The high current fuses are cod ed as follow s: 30 am p -light
green, 40 am p - orange, 50 am p - red , 60 am p -blu e.
RWARN ING
Alw ays discon nect the battery before servicin g high
curren t fuses.
Ford recom mend s that high current fuses be rep laced by a
qu alified technician.

Alw ays rep lace the cover to the Pow er Distrib ution Box
before recon nectin g the battery or refillin g flu id
reservoirs.
A blow n high current fuse may be rep laced bu t will continu e to
blow until the cau se of the overload cond ition is corrected .
