Cancelling and Resuming a Set Speed
If you press the brake pedal, the speed control is cancelled . You
can retu rn to the speed you set by using the RSM switch, as
long as you did not press the OFF switch.
To resu me the speed you had before, you must be driving at
least 30 mph (50 km / h).
Press and release the RSM switch. Your vehicle grad ually
retu rns to the previou sly set speed and then maintains it.
RWARN ING
If you r veh icle has speed control, do not use it on
slip pery road s. You could lose control of you r veh icle
and could injure som eon e.
Speed Control Indicator (If equipped)
A SPEED CON TROL light is displayed in the instru ment cluster
when the speed control system is engaged . The display will tu rn
off when the brake pedal is pressed or if speed control is shu t
off.
This display does not ind icate any problem s with the speed
control, bu t is sim ply a convenient way of know ing when it is
active.
