Lug nut tight ening sequence

Use of wheels or lug nuts oth er than origin al equipment
could cause damage to the wheel or mountin g system
and allow the wheels to come off while the veh icle is in
motion .

Replace any wheel covers, ornam ents, or hu b cap s that you r
vehicle has. Make sure that they are screw ed or snap ped into
place.

Pu t the tire, jack, and wrench aw ay. (Make sure jack is
secu rely fastened so it does not rattle when you drive.)
Unblock the wheels.
Retighten the wheel lug nu ts to the specified torqu e at 500 miles
