To lessen the risk of person al injury, do not put any part
of you r body under the veh icle while changin g a tire. Do
not start the engin e when you r veh icle is on the jack .
The jack is only mean t for changin g the tire.

Remove the lug nu ts with the lug nu t wrench.
Replace the flat tire with the spare tire.
Thread the lug nu ts on the wheel stu ds with the beveled
face tow ard the wheel. Use the lug nu t wrench to screw the
lug nu t snu g against the wheel bu t do not tighten.

Low er the vehicle by tu rning the jack hand le
counterclockw ise.
Remove the jack and fully tighten the lug nu ts in the ord er
show n in the follow ing illustration.
