Operating the CD Compression feature
Because of the wide dynam ic range of Ford ’s 6-CD Changer
System , soft passages may be difficult to hear und er certain
driving cond itions while maintaining a reasonable volu me level
in the lou der passages. The com pression featu re will bring these
soft and lou d passages closer together for a more consistent
listening level.
To tu rn the com pression on, press the “COMPRESS ”/ #5 bu tton.
When the com pression featu re is activated , the display will
ind icate “C”.
Operating the Shuffle feature
While in the CD mod e, pressing the “SHUFFLE”/ #6 bu tton will
rand om ly select a track from the disc currently being played .
The display will ind icate “SHF” follow ed by the disc and track
nu mber (dd-tt).
The CD Changer will continu e to rand om ly select tracks for
play until the shu ffle featu re is tu rned off by pressing the
“
SHUFFLE” bu tton a second tim e.
How to stop CD play
While in the CD mod e, press the “AM/ FM” bu tton to stop CD
play and resu me rad io play. Also, load ing a cassette into the
cassette deck will stop CD play and begin cassette play.

exp erience. The error cod es are:
