Weigh you r vehicle as you custom arily operate the vehicle
(withou t cargo).
Subtract the total weight of passengers, driver and optional
equ ipment ad ded by the factory, dealer or afterm arket
supplier to determ ine how much cargo weight you can carry.

If you suspect that you r payload is excessive, have you r vehicle
weighed at a highw ay weigh station or ap prop riate com mercial
facility. Weigh the total vehicle and trailer (if ap plicable), then
sep arately weigh the vehicle at the front and rear wheels. And
finally, weigh the trailer sep arately if ap plicable.
