Built-In Child Seat Belt Retractors
The belts on the Built-In Child Seat are equ ipped with a dual
locking mod e retractor. The child seat belts can be used with
the retractor in either the emergency locking mod e or the
au tom atic mod e. In the emergency locking mod e, the retractor
allow s freed om of movem ent, locking only on hard braking,
hard cornering, or collisions. In the au tom atic locking mod e, the
retractor will rem ain locked and does not allow the child
freed om of movem ent.
The retractor will switch from the emergency locking mod e to
the au tom atic locking mod e when the shou lder belts are pulled
all the way ou t. The retractor will switch back to emergency
