Air Bag Readiness Light
This light illuminates for ap proxim ately six second s when the
ignition key is tu rned to the ON position to verify that the
ind icator bu lb is working and the air bag system is operating
norm ally.
RWARN ING
A prob lem with the air bag system is indicated by one or
more of the follow ing: the read iness ligh t will eith er
flash or stay lit, or it will not ligh t, or a grou p of five
beep s will be heard .
RWARN ING
If any of these things happen, even interm itten tly, have
the air bag system serviced at you r Ford or
Lincoln -Mercu ry dealer immediately.
