Folding Rear Seat

To fold dow n the rear split seat:

Rotate the head restraint fully forw ard . Low er the head restraint
to the top of the seatback. Pu ll upward on the latch release
hand le at the sid e of the seatback, while pulling the seatback
forw ard with the other hand . Pu sh the seatback dow nw ard until
the latch engages in the full dow n position.
To retu rn the system to the seating position, pull upward on the
latch release hand le while rotating the seat upward until seat
back latches in the upright position.
The inboard safety belt bu ckle will not be dam aged by this
operation. The bu ckles will au tom atically retu rn to original
position when seat is upright.

NOTE: If you r veh icle is equipped with a built-in child seat,
the seatb ack cannot be fold ed down unless the
built-in child seat is fully stow ed.
