rem ounted to maintain the best possible rid e.
Snow Tires and Chains
The tires on you r vehicle have all-w eather tread s that provid e
traction in rain or snow . How ever, during the winter months in
som e climates, you may need to use snow tires and occasionally
chains for you r tires.
RWARN ING
Snow tires must be the sam e size and grad e as the tires
you curren tly have on you r veh icle.
RWARN ING
Do not use chain s on P255/70R16 tires on veh icles
equipped with autom atic rid e control.
Do not use chains when using a tem porary spare. For full size
tires, use chains on the tires only in an emergency or if the law
requ ires them where you live. When you use the tire chains:

Make sure the chains are the right size for you r tires. Use
only SAE Class “S” chains. Other typ es may dam age you r
vehicle.

Tire chains may scratch or chip alu minu m wheels. IT IS
RECOMMEN DED THAT TIRE CH AIN S ARE INSTALLED
ON STEEL WH EELS ON LY. Be sure to rem ove wheel
covers (if equ ipped) from steel rim s before using tire chains
to avoid scratches or dam age.

Install tire chains on rear tires; use of chains on front tires is
not recom mend ed.
