Checking and Replacing Fuses
If you need to check a fuse, follow these step s:

Find the fuse panel, which is located in the left end of the
instru ment panel. The pow er distribu tion box (described
earlier in this section) is found in the engine com partm ent,
mou nted on a bracket attached to the left fend er ap ron.
To access the fuse panel, rem ove the fuse panel cover by
inserting you r finger in the divot and pulling on the cover.
The und ersid e of the cover contains four spare fuses. A fuse
pulling tool is located in the low er right corner of the fuse
panel in case you need to rep lace a blow n fuse.
The spare fuses for you r vehicle are color cod ed as follow s:

am p — red , 15 am p — light blu e, 20 am p — natu ral, 30
am p — light green.

On the fuse panel cover, find the nu mber of the fuse you
want to check. The diagram on the cover tells you where to
locate the fuse on the panel.
Check the fuse to see if it is blow n. Look throu gh the clear
sid e of the fuse to see if the metal wire insid e is sep arated . If
it is, the fuse is blow n and shou ld be rep laced .
