Warning Light s and Gauges
The follow ing is a list of warning messages and their associated
reset category:
Check Engine Temp
This warning message is displayed when the engine coolant is
overheating. Stop the vehicle as soon as safely possible, tu rn off
engine and let it cool. Check the coolant and level follow ing the
instru ctions in the Servicing Your Vehicle chap ter. If you do not
follow these instru ctions, you or others could be inju red .
Check Charging System
This warning message is displayed when the electrical system is
not maintaining a prop er voltage. If you are ru nning electrical
accessories when the engine is idling at a low speed , tu rn off as
many of the electrical load s as soon as safely possible. If this
warning stays on or com es on when the engine is operating at
norm al speed s, have the electrical system checked as soon as it
is safely possible.
