Carefu lly, pull the dipstick out again. If the oil level is below
the “ADD” line, ad d engine oil as necessary. If the oil level
is beyond the letter “F” in Full, engine dam age or high oil
consu mption may occur and som e oil must be rem oved from
the engine.

Pu t the dipstick back in and make sure it is fully seated .
It may be necessary to ad d som e oil betw een oil changes. Make
sure you use a CERTIFIED engine oil of the preferred viscosity.
Your vehicle’s warranty coverage may not ap ply if engine
dam age is cau sed by the use of improp er engine oil.
Ad d engine oil throu gh the oil filler cap highlighted in yellow .
To ad d oil, rem ove the filler cap and use a funnel to pour oil
into the opening. Be carefu l not to overfill the engine. Recheck
the oil level after you finish ad ding oil.
