Use only extensions manu factu red by the sam e supplier as the
safety belt. Manu factu rer identification is located at the end of
the webbing on the label. Also, use the safety belt extension
only if the safety belt is too short for you when fully extend ed.
Do not use extension to change the fit of the shou lder belt
across the torso.

perform ance of the safety belts and increase the risk of
person al injury.
Safety Belt Maintenance
Check the safety belt system s period ically to make sure that
they work prop erly and are not dam aged .
The short plastic boot on the front safety belt at the passenger
outboard anchor location covers an energy absorbing sew
pattern on the safety belt. In the event of an accid ent, the sew
pattern may release, and the colored label (REPLACE BELT)
may becom e visible. If this occurs, the safety belt must be
rep laced .
