Warning Light s and Gauges
The Mechanical Cluster
The follow ing warning lights and gau ges are on the mechanical
cluster. All of the warning lights and gau ges alert you to
possible problem s with you r vehicle. Some of the lights listed
are optional. The follow ing sections detail what each of these
ind icators means.
Brake System Warning Light
The warning light for the brakes can show tw o things — that
the parking brake is not fully released , or that the brake fluid
level is low in the master cylind er reservoir. If the fluid level is
low , the brake system shou ld be checked by you r dealer or a
qu alified service technician.
This light com es on when you tu rn the ignition key to START
to verify that the ind icator bu lb is working. If the light stays on
or com es on after you have released the parking brake fully,
have the hyd rau lic brake system serviced .
RWARN ING
The BRAKE ligh t indicates that the brak es may not be
work ing prop erly. Have the brak es checked immediately.
